Features outtakes from the Riese albums 4-Track Zack, Thus Spend Nights Gloating, and Papercuts

-Liner Notes-

Multiple Choice-
A pretty good song that was left off 4-Track Zack because I forgot to turn on the microphone and recorded using my crappy laptop microphone. Didn't want to re-record it. I really do like this song.

Bucket List-
I think this is mostly based off the movie with Morgan Freeman, which I've only ever seen trailers for. Too long though, man!

Can't Sleep Nights-
The first rap I'd done since the first MC Mofo EP. I pitched it up and decided to attribute it to DJ Flufe but by the time I used that moniker again I had repurposed it as a mashup artist.

Awyeah-
A pretty kickin' instrumental. I got a great idea to just accentuate every "Awyeah!" with that little synth riff. I really still like this one a lot. Instrumentals can age a lot better than the rest of the junk.

Party Song-
I used to get very insecure that my songs weren't at all suited to a party atmosphere. So once in a while I'd record something like this. It's still just me and the only parties it might be suited to are very ironic ones.

Revenge Sizzle-
Coulda' just called this Revenge but it sizzles a bit I think.

Crazy-
A little improvised thing.

Disassociation-
Also improvised and no overdubs on it, I just had a neat idea on the guitar in my room and I was in the habit of recording all of those. That's the nice thing about having all your gear in your bedroom, I wish I had that again.

Idea-
The first song I wrote for Papercuts, and later I based Papercuts on it. The vocals are more or less a Damon Albarn impression. Was I "seventeen" and "gettin' so mean"? Yeah, I think so.

Miss U-
Simple little track, about a girl texting her long distance boyfriend.

Do the Swim-
A cover of Little Nell, who played Columbia in Rocky Horror. Wild that I haven't covered Tim Curry yet.

Pro Rocka-
I don't really understand this song but you can hear the vocals before they come in. There's this weird tone that was being made by the amp or something. I liked it so that became the vocal.

Think You Are-
Some pitch shifting left over from TSNG.

Reappropriation-
I just looked it up and this is a word, actually. I guess I'm proud? Also there's a line about misogyny here. It's about lobotomizing one's girlfriend I think.

Somebody Wrote-
I love the first line here and so this ends up getting stuck in my head a lot. Also I think this song is legitimately sad and touching.
